These posters were everywhere during the war as a constant reminder to enlist and give encouragement towards the soldiers and their families.
The Posters also persuaded the men and women at home to either send special offerings such as metals to make bullets, books and to use less important materials such as bread and medicine. Women were used to influence to the men on a sexual level with if they returned they would get the ladies or the women will think of them as a hero and praise the soldiers that went.
